Perched on the furthest tip of Iceland’s Westfjords, this peninsula is the most remote and wild back country region of Iceland. It is only accessible by boat. Considered one of Europe’s last wildernesses, this 589 square km (227sq m) reserve has an end-of-the-world feel. Waterfalls thunder down mountains, the midnight sun kisses the ocean, cliffs plummet to the sea and the mighty Drangajökull glacier overlooks the scene. It is truly an incredible experience to explore this wild country, grandiose features and spectacular backpacking.

To be whole . To be complete. Wildness reminds us what it means to be human , what we are connected to rather than what we are separate from .”

““In the end, only three things matter:

how much you loved,

how gently you lived,

and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.”

“I especially appreciated Kellsie's demeanor: knowledgeable, engaged, calm. She would bring up ideas, and then follow-through on them: like reading book chapters aloud, encouraging journal writing, planning meditation activities, and initiating campfires & stargazing. She also balanced that with chill and quiet times, which I am particularly grateful for. I'm really glad to have met her. “

— A. Sidhu- Wind River Expedition

“I was ultimately inspired to book a trip with Kellsie because I could feel her excitement for the area we were going to and her sense of adventure in discovering and delighting in it. Kellsie wasn’t just putting together the logistics and crunching the numbers - she was joining us in experiencing a place.”

— J. Fuller- Iceland Expedition
